Arriva group in Poland

In Poland, Arriva RP is the first private passenger railway carrier providing services on a mass scale. Arriva's many years of experience in public transport on European markets resulted in victory in 2007 in the tender for transport involving diesel lines in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Currently, Arriva provides nearly 50% of passenger connections in this region, serves 100 stops and stations and covers 2.6 million train kilometers. Arriva has 37 rail vehicles at its disposal, maintained at the base in Nowa Wieś Wielka. The company employs over 200 people. Over its 15 years of operation, Arriva has invested PLN 127 million, exclusively from its own funds, in acquiring and maintaining rolling stock and ensuring a high standard of services for passengers. The foundation of the carrier's operations is the quality and efficiency of the services provided, the safety of customers and employees, and participation in the life of the community. What makes the company stand out is the high quality offered to travelers. Passenger satisfaction is confirmed by the results of annual surveys, where travelers highly rate the quality of Arriva services, including punctuality, frequency, reliability, cleanliness, safety, comfort of trains and, in particular, the quality of service. From the beginning of its operation, Arriva has also been undertaking extraordinary activities aimed at promoting public transport, including the summer reactivation of connections to Ciechocinek, co-financing the construction of Bike&Ride in Świekatowo and supporting the Pol'and'Rock festival for the inhabitants of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship. Currently, the company is the title sponsor of the Arriva Twarde Pierniki Toruń basketball team. Based on experience in Europe and striving for development, the company participated in innovative transport projects, such as cross-border connections. Arriva in Poland also offers rolling stock rental and traction vehicle maintenance services. In terms of vehicle rental, it offers rail buses with a high travel standard and low fuel consumption, such as SA134 or MR/MRD. As part of vehicle maintenance, the company has two halls with four 60 m long tracks, where it carries out inspections and repairs of traction vehicles from P1 to P4. The carrier's goal for the coming years is to continue providing rail transport at the highest level and to take advantage of the emerging development opportunities.
